The State Budget Institution of Culture “Mosconcert” is the largest cultural institution in Russia and a center of creative initiatives. The organization is about to celebrate its 95th anniversary in 2024.
Mosconcert areas of activity: patriotic events, special projects, festivals, citywide holidays, public holidays events.
A special feature of Mosconcert is multi-genre programs: ballet, jazz, classical, literary and poetry programs, pop, folk music, opera, children's programs, drama theater, immersive theater, children's and puppet theater.
One of the main projects of Mosconcert is the “Cultural Brigade” within which Mosconcert artists are led by the CEO - I.V. Bachurin and are heading monthly to the territories of the new republics.
The main repertoire of Mosconcert has expanded thanks to creative collaboration with the Brusnikin Workshop, the Zaryadye Moscow Concert Hall, the Moscow Theater School of Modern Play, the Hyperion Book Club-Shop, the Russian State University of A.N. Kosygin, Moscow House of Books, Center for Electroacoustic Music, Russian Institute of Theater Arts - GITIS, Moscow State Conservatory of P. Tchaikovsky, Lugansk State Academy of Culture and Arts. of M. Matusovsky and others.
Among significant events of the Mosconcert are joint projects and work at partner venues: “National Award in the Field of Creative Industries” (2021, 2022, Zaryadye MKZ), the “New Classics” festival (Zaryadye Park), the cycle of classical music concerts “Musical evenings on Tverskaya, 13" (Moscow City Hall), City Day (Zaryadye Park, Poklonnaya Hill and other city venues), "Music in Putevoy" (Petrovsky Travel Palace), "Phaneron" (Manege, VDNKh), Opening the Year of Scriabin (MKZ "Zaryadye"), GITIS - Laboratory in M-Hall.
Mosconcert events are taking place at various venues : Mosconcert Hall, Gorbunov Palace of Culture by Mosconcert, Art salon, Moscow City Hall, Petrovsky Travel Palace, at the Vysotsky Club. Also, concert programs are presented at the venues of the State Kremlin Palace, the Moscow International House of Music, the Column Hall of the House of Unions, the Moscow State Conservatory of P.I. Tchaikovsky, Zaryadye Park, Kuskovo Estate Museum, Memorial Museum of A.N.Scriabin, State Museum of A.S. Pushkin and others.
For many years leading performers of Russian popular and classical stage have worked in Mosconcert: Leonid Utesov, Klavdiya Shulzhenko, Viktor Besedin, Lyudmila Zykina, David Ashkenazi, Nadezhda Babkina, Gennady Khazanov, Efim Shifrin, Valentina Tolkunova, etc. Today among the artists of the Mosconcert is Sergei Zhilin , Klara Novikova, Alexander Gindin, Evgeny Petrosyan, Basinia Shulman, Denis Mazhukov, Valentina Lisitsa, Ksenia Dezhneva, Nina Shatskaya and others.
