Moscow City Hall, Tverskaya str., 13

Metro station: Pushkinskaya
Concerts on Tverskaya 13 are an opportunity to visit the current residence of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin and, in the atmosphere of historical interiors, get acquainted with the best examples of various musical genres. The Moscow City Hall was built in 1782 according to the design of the architect Matvey Kazakov and until 1917 served as the residence of Moscow governors-general. In 1938, when the street was widened, the house was moved 13.5 meters inside the block in just 41 minutes. On December 25, 2021, the famous House of the Governor General opened its doors to Moscow citizens and guests of the capital, and from that moment on, not only official events, but also significant cultural events performed by Mosconcert took place there. The opening of the venue was performed by the Golden Mask award winners Yuri Kvyatkovsky and Peter Aidu, who recreated the history of the famous Governor General's House with the language of modern theater.
